It provides an understanding of the reports, standards and frameworks that contribute to effective IT Governance; participants will also gain a broad appreciation of the IT Governance Institute's (ITGI's) open framework, Control Objectives for IT and related Technology (COBIT ® 4.1) that is the worldwide de facto framework for IT Governance.

They will also wish to understand in outline how well-established best-practices for IT Service Management (ITIL ®, PRINCE2 ® and ISO 27002) can provide an underlying implementation approach for COBIT ®.
