BCS Foundation Certificate in Agile

Course Overview

This certificate focuses on the principles and values of agile including its evolution; culture; return of investment opportunities; differences between more traditional methods such as the waterfall approach; and questioning popular agile benefits versus real-world techniques.

Are there any prerequisites?

No. However you may wish to download the course syllabus here where you will find information on recommended reading.

What about the exam and certification?

The examination consists of a one hour exam with 40 multiple choice questions. It will be a 'closed book' examination i.e. no notes or books will be allowed into the examination room. If your business Language is not English, candidates sitting the examination have a maximum of 75 minutes. The pass mark is 65% (26 out of 40)

NB. It is now a requirement for candidates to produce one form of photographic identification which includes their photograph, their name and their signature or two forms of alternative identification. Please refer to the Identification Policy on the BCS website for full details and acceptable forms of identification. The identification must be valid and be an original, a photocopy or a certified copy.
