In the context of Agile Delivery, “Stories” allow the Customer, End User Consumer and the Delivery team to continually discuss Requirements and Benefits over the project lifetime, helping us to collectively discover what is really required and ensure that it is delivered.

Stories are written in a format that forces us to think of the business value /benefit achieved by implementing this story (Economics)Stories are concise and to the point, helping everyone to remain focussed (Flow)As a “promise for a conversation”, stories encourage customer collaboration and face-to-face conversations (Communication)
